I’ve actually taken a break from my playthrough waiting for this current patch, so now I’ll dive back in and see just how much better it’s running (or not). Play through this game both for the story (since Survivor will make much more sense if you play the first game first!) and to buy some more time for the devs at Respawn to keep patching this game up until it’s good and ready. It’s especially great on PS5 and Xbox Series X compared to last-gen consoles. It’s a terrific game that looks and runs great (though it certainly had some issues of its own at launch). If you played that game at launch, play it again now. If you haven’t already, play Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order first. Whether this patch will fix the many lingering issues plaguing this game remains to be seen, but I do have one suggestion for everyone on PC and console: It deployed on consoles yesterday, but includes even more fixes for PC as you can see above.
